Pineville High School

Pineville High School, established in 1952, has a long-standing reputation for high quality education, and is supported by a large alumni base dedicated to promoting and preserving the heritage and pride of the school via the PHS Alumni Association.

Situated just south of Fort Buhlow Lake, and adjacent to the former site of Sandy Canyon, the school serves the needs of an every-growing population.

Pineville High School is the largest high school in Rapides Parish. The school's enrollment is approximately 1,400 students as of the 2012-2013 school year.

The school has approximately one hundred faculty, staff, and administrators.

The school is designated as a magnet center for the creative and performing arts, which hosts award-winning programs in theatre, visual arts, and musical performance. Athletic teams include football, baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, tennis, track and field, powerlifting, swimming, and softball.
