East Texas offers beautiful rolling hills and scenery spread over hundres of miles, from the Gulf of Mexico north to Arkansas and Oklahoma.
We love to visit the cities and small towns that we frequent so much today and have in the past: Waskom, Marshall, Longview, Kilgore, Gladewater, Big Sandy, Mineola, Jacksonville, Edom, and others.
Our journeys from Shreveport to Tyler, and back, have been many, from the late 1950s through 2010! We've enjoyed many days at Lake Palestine, Lake Tyler, the Tyler Rose Garden and other attractions in Smith County. See the Tyler Texas map for more details and locations, and visit Tyler Shopping for retail locations of interest when visiting Tyle and East Texas.
